Lucas Rivas is a tactical analyst with extensive experience in professional football who will not only reveal the playing behaviors that define the teams led by these four elite coaches, but will also teach you how to initiate attacks starting from the back and how to apply those movements in different training sessions with your own team. This book presents a tactical analysis of Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp, Mauricio Pochettino and Maurizio Sarri, learning from the best coaches in the world by breaking down 32 tactical situations. The objective of this work is to help you understand the reasoning behind the offensive tactical innovations of Guardiola, Klopp, Pochettino and Sarri; how they start their buildouts from the defense, progress, and then finish their plays in the opposing goal. All of these situations demonstrate variations that can be used against different types of opponents; those who will drop back to defend compactly and those who will seek to apply suffocating pressure.
